Radical progressive socialists are totally freaking out over the way We the People are schooling Antifa® anarchists on the subject of “peaceful protests.” The world is learning that you don’t need Molotov cocktails to stand up for your rights. It’s day 24 of the People’s Convoy and there hasn’t been a single store looted or one fire reported. What they did have was a skydiver drop in waving a huge American flag. It’s no wonder Joe Biden hasn’t said a single word.
Socialists at least writing
It’s not often that Deep State Rabbit Hole quotes the World Wide Socialist Web Site but these are uncommon times. We live in an upside down Orwellian hallucination where the network media is hiding the Truth. Us renegade conservative news writers are forced to monitor livestreams round the clock to filter out all the raw info and get it boiled down to things that make sense. We don’t mind biased sources around here, we see what the Socialists have to say and unspin them.
For example, our comrades at WWSW write: “despite their small numbers and unpopular message, leaders of the far-right anti-vaccine ‘People’s Convoy‘ have been regularly meeting with Republican lawmakers since arriving in Washington D.C. earlier this month.” They got some of that right. The part they got right was about meeting the lawmakers. Some ran to meet and greet the delegates, while others ran to hide from the cameras. Voters will remember both versions in November.
Numbers of convoy participants have gone up and down. Maxed at around 2,000 officially counted, not all those made it to Maryland. A core of around 500 rolled the beltway for a week. By day 24 the numbers are dwindling. What scares the Socialists is that not all of them are going away and also that there’s a good chance reinforcements are coming.
Especially, if a good old fashioned “We-The-People-stock” Freedom Rally gets going. Let’s party like it’s 1776! As far as popularity of the message, all you have to do is look at the folks waving flags on overpasses coast-to-coast. Low key We-The-People-stock rallies have been going at Hagerstown Speedway since March 4. We the People aren’t anti-vaxxers, only want it to be your choice. They also want to end the state of emergency which cancels out our beloved Constitution.
The Socialists say none of this matters one bit but they’re afraid of it anyway. The convoy, they note, “has been given demonstrative support by prominent Republicans. Its leaders have met with nearly a dozen Republican lawmakers.” Names like Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson and Jim Jordan. Next, they try to blame the convoy for all the traffic accidents which happened this week.
What they don’t tell you is that traffic rolling with the convoy flowed along just fine at the speed limit. All the problems were caused when D.C. officials panicked and blocked off every exit to the city in both directions.
Police escort, sort of
The socialists complain that the convoy “has been afforded police escorts every day this week. This has enabled it to block or delay traffic while honking horns and displaying American flags and pro-Trump, anti-Biden placards.” If they had police escorts as alleged, the accidents wouldn’t have happened. They only had escorts as needed when outside antagonists disrupted the orderly and lawful procession. Nobody has been directing traffic or allowing them special privileges. They’re obeying the same rules of the road as card carrying communists do. As far as the American Flags — well, snowflake — welcome to America.
Here, we have the freedom to write “Let’s Go Brandon” on our vehicle if we chose to do so, whether it makes you uncomfortable or not. We aren’t real happy with that black block, bear-spray, and industrial grade fireworks either. We’re still fighting for your rights, too. At least, when you aren’t breaking the law for fun.
The Socialists are sure to point out that We the People has been getting a warm and cozy welcome by all the deplorable “Republican lawmakers who were, to one degree or another, complicit in former President Donald Trump’s failed fascist coup of January 6, 2021.”
You can tell that bothers them. They were highly offended about what Marjorie Taylor Greene had to say, while meeting with Co-Organizer Brian Brase, about the rainbow sock wearing Prime Minister of Canada. She called Justin Trudeau a “dictator.”
On March 10, conservative Senator Ted Cruz of Texas “spoke at the Hagerstown Speedway and participated in a ride-along.” He rolled out sitting shotgun in the lead semi after thanking the cheering crowd for “standing up for freedom.” He later told Sean Hannity “I rode in the lead rig. We headed straight to the Capitol in D.C. It was inspirational.”
Not a single rock or bottle was thrown. There haven’t been any injuries. Tell me again, how the George Floyd “peaceful protests” of Socialists are better than the patriot style low key tailgate party and cruise around the beltway “peaceful protests.“
