Judge Hannah Dugan abused her position behind a Milwaukee County Circuit Court bench by misdirecting ICE agents. She was arrested for it, too. The liberal dispenser of justice thought she was above the law when she sent federal agents on a wild goose chase. Her idea was to distract them long enough to shield an illegal immigrant criminal from sudden deportation.
Evading ICE
ICE agents sent to arrest Eduardo Flores Ruiz did not appreciate the judge attempting to thwart enforcement of federal immigration law.
When FBI director Kash Patel found out about what happened, he had FBI agents arrest Judge Hannah Dugan. They hauled her away from her own courtroom in cuffs.
Aiding and abetting illegal criminals by blocking them from ICE is something the current administration seriously frowns on.
While Judge Dugan has been granted the professional courtesy of bail and is currently free on bond, she’s going to be prosecuted by a zealously diligent federal prosecutor. While Attorney General Pam Bondi hovers over the forthcoming legal proceedings like a vulture.
Judge Dugan was arrested at the Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday, April 25, for stalling ICE intentionally on April 18.
As director Patel noted, “we believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest.”

After his appearance
ICE agents showed up at the courthouse with “an administrative arrest warrant.” The plan was “to take him into custody in a public area outside the courtroom after his appearance before the judge.”
Dugan did some fast thinking and said their warrant wasn’t good enough. If it was a “judicial arrest warrant” there wouldn’t be a question but with this one they needed to run it by the chief justice real quick.
As soon as the ICE agents were headed to see her boss, Dugan “allegedly took Flores-Ruiz through a juror door and out of the court room.”

Feds tracked him down soon enough because he made the mistake of going home. “Flores-Ruiz is currently in FBI custody.”
Since Judge Dugan is fully aware of courtroom procedure, she lawyered up and is letting him do the talking. Craig Mastantuono hasn’t thought of anything much to say, other than “Judge Dugan wholeheartedly regrets and protests her arrest. It was not made in the interest of public safety.”
It was made in the interest of enforcing the law. That’s a concept Democrats can’s seem to get their head around. Her blatant defiance of ICE agents speaks a whole lot louder than anything her lawyer can say to deflect it. Her next court appearance is scheduled for May 15.
