President Donald Trump has finally made his announcement about the January 6 protest in Washington, D.C.
The president is calling his supporters to join him in the nation’s capitol to protest against the certification of an election that has been tainted with serious allegations and evidence of fraud and irregularities. The point of the protest appears to be to show our elected officials that the American people will no longer support them if they do not fight for us.
Along with his post about the details of the upcoming protest, President Trump assured his supporters that evidence is coming.
The president issued his marching orders for American patriots on Friday, January 1, promising that “massive amounts of evidence will be presented on the 6th.”

With this announcement, President Trump shared a post by Republican Senator Josh Hawley. The Missouri senator announced his intention to stand for President Trump and his supporters on January 6.
“Millions of voters concerned about election integrity deserve to be heard. I will object on January 6 on their behalf,” Hawley wrote.
Senator Hawley also made an appearance on Fox News to discuss his reasons behind objecting to the Electoral College votes from battleground states whose elections were riddled with fraud and irregularities, saying: “Someone has to stand up. 74 million Americans are not going to be told their voices don’t matter.”
During the interview, Hawley also called out the hypocrisy of the Democrats, who raised objections to the Electoral College vote count in both 2004 and 2016 to question election integrity.
