In a shocking turn of events, the son of the one of the co-founders of Hamas has decided to come forward to share his viewpoint of the Israel-Hamas conflict. Mosab Hassan Yousef, recently had an interview with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo where he states that Hamas must be removed from power and the only way to do so is by wiping out the organization completely.

This is the only hope for peace in the region.

Yousef explains that “This is war. We have to accept it. And Hamas started this war.” He also claims that they do not regard human life and this isn’t their first war against Israel. Every time there has been a cease-fire in prior wars, they come back stronger than ever before.

Therefore, he argues that a cease-fire is not the answer because “the job is unfinished.”

Yousef draws parallels between Hamas and Nazi Germany noting that “anti-Semitism and anti-Israel, anti-life is what was in common between this type of people and the Nazis.” Additionally, he states “we saw what they did on October 7th (referring to missile attack from Gaza). And they are hiding behind children and women” which further solidifies his argument.

He goes on to explain how civilians in Gaza had a chance to avoid the war but chose not too since they are partners with Hamas. He says if these civilians die with them then it’s not Israel’s fault since they made a conscious choice of supporting them despite warnings about consequences.

Lastly, Yousef believes international protests should be aimed at other organizations like United Nations or Egyptian government instead who are closing off borders as opposed to attacking Israel directly. Questioning why so much emotional pain is being inflicted on Jewish people during this modern Holocaust?

Yousef explained, “A premature cease-fire today will lead to more violence, certainly to more violence. If we don’t eradicate Hamas now, whatever it takes, even if civilians will die. If we don’t do this today, this time, this war, now. Tomorrow, the violence will be much greater than this.”
