False and misleading FBI documents are only the tip of the iceberg, Chuck Grassley insists. Back in 2016, the bureau was heavily involved with a “political vendetta” against Donald Trump. The senator can see that Durham’s prosecution of Michael Sussmann will lead to a bunch more.

FBI ‘fired up’ to fry Trump

Iowa Senator Charles Grassley, the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, gave an impassioned floor speech in the Senate on Tuesday.

Fresh evidence introduced by Special Counsel John Durham makes it crystal clear that “the FBI engaged in misconduct” as part of their sordid “political vendetta” against Donald Trump.

Evidence including both documents and testimony presented in Michael Sussmann’s trial paint a picture of “fired up” bureau bigwigs. Ex-Director James Comey was especially hot to help Hillary.

All the false “Alfa Bank” allegations which suggest “Trump had a secret communications channel to the Kremlin” turned out to be cooked up by the Clinton campaign, then hand delivered to the FBI by Sussmann himself.

The FBI continued the effort to sustain the investigation by hiding the source of the info from the agents working to verify the claims.

One official document, Grassley thundered, lied when it states that “evidence for the probe came from the Justice Department when in fact it came from Sussmann, a lawyer for Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

A political vendetta

By the looks of it, this FBI document contains false information,” Grassley scolds. He knows that’s only scratching the surface of the real corruption.

I fear these recent developments are just the tip of the iceberg.” The Washington swamp is deep and murky.

When the FBI can be exposed to false information, then turn around and actually use it “for investigative purposes wreaks of a political vendetta.” That, Grassley declares, is “a get-Trump-at-all-costs attitude.

Something really scary to consider when it was one political campaign using the infrastructure of the justice department itself as a weapon against the opposing political campaign. That, everyone keeps saying, makes Nixon’s Watergate bugging look like a third-rate burglary.

Senator Grassley knows one thing for sure. “Whether Sussmann is convicted or not, the evidence introduced by Durham shows serious government misconduct. Special Counsel Durham can’t let government misconduct go unpunished.

That means a whole lot more indictments on the horizon. Stay tuned for more earth-shattering FBI developments to come.
