Mia Khalifa is a Lebanese former-pornography actress who developed a sudden distaste for her industry right around the time that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) began threatening her life. No matter, Ms. Khalifa decided to take to twitter and cheekily declare that her “wine is older than your apartheid “state”.

Porn Stars For Palestine? Something Doesn’t Match

Mia Khalifa seems to be a bit confused about what side of the Israeli-Palestinian controversy she could logically support. Given of course that the PLO and Hamas would likely call for her public stoning for her performances while they would be readily tolerated in Israel. She seemed to take a bit of issue when thousands of people on Twitter soundly rebuked her. especially given her vintage of choice was a French champagne of 1943, bottled during the Nazi occupation.

According to the New York Post, “She should try drinking that wine in Gaza and see how fast she flees to Tel Aviv,” British commentator Darren Grimes chimed in noting rightly that alcohol is illegal in Gaza as it is in most Muslim nations.

The Daily Wire added,

“You’re drinking wine made in 1943 Nazi-occupied France, while denying thousands of years of Jewish history in our ancestral homeland. Glad you found the perfect pairing for your antisemitism!” Hen Mazzig wrote on Twitter.

Khalifa Seemed Less Than Pleased

Mia didn’t seem to enjoy all of the attention she was getting online. She responded rather harshly to her critics, very vocally avowing her loyalty to a group of terrorists who would undoubtedly respond to her with a minimum scorn and potentially death.

She tweeted in response to The New York Post, “I’m sorry your mental capacity can’t fathom issues past your own personal agendas. Ban me from all Arabic speaking countries and I’ll still be screaming “free Palestine” and “pray for Beirut” in every other language under the sun.”

It looks as though her critics were living rent-free in her mind for quite awhile, she sent multiple tweets attempting to refute The Post among other outlets defending Israel, even going for a deep dive into the history and details of the wine she was drinking. The very definition of a semantic argument entirely ignoring the optics. Which for a porn actress is pretty odd, the optics tend to be somewhat front and center in that field.
