When Trump was elected, New York Attorney General Letitia James vowed to fight Trump every step of the way.
Well, here we are, about three weeks in, and she has already fired her first shot.
James ordered healthcare providers in the state to defy Trump’s order prohibiting transition care for minors.

The battle between the left and the right over transgenders is, in my opinion, much misinformed.
There are two major issues at hand for most conservatives.
The first being the integrity and safety of women’s sports, and the second is protecting minors from life-altering surgeries.
Trump’s order was to address the second, forbidding transition surgeries on minor children, but James appears to be okay with little children having their bodies mutilated before they are even old enough to stay home by themselves.
She penned a letter to healthcare providers in New York, which stated, “Electing to refuse services to a class of individuals based on their protected status, such as withholding the availability of services from transgender individuals based on their gender identity or their diagnosis of gender dysphoria, while offering such services to cisgender individuals, is discrimination under New York law.”
Trump’s order has already had an impact, as surgeries around the country were reportedly being canceled.
The White House announced, “It’s already having its intended effect — preventing children from being maimed and sterilized by adults perpetuating a radical, false claim that they can somehow change a child’s sex.
“Hospitals around the country are taking action to downsize or eliminate their so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ programs.”
I just cannot imagine any parent being okay with this surgery, but plenty of them obviously are, and it is baffling to me.
Allow the kids to grow up first, but if you want me to believe that 10-year-old child is mature enough to make that decision, especially with how susceptible to suggestion kids are these days… I am not buying it.
