Bannon’s Support for Trump 2024
In his podcast on January 20, Steve Bannon said that Trump will be ready to run for president again in the 2024 election.
Bannon added that he will be promoting President Trump’s next White House bid on his show, suggesting that his ‘War Room: Pandemic” podcast would be the start of Trump’s next campaign.
“President Trump is going to take the White House back in 2024, and that starts today. And it starts with this show and I don’t care if they don’t like it. I don’t care if the mainstream media doesn’t like it, I don’t care if the democratic party doesn’t like it,” Bannon said.
Trump has not yet committed to running for the office again, though comments during his farewell address suggest that we haven’t seen the last of him.
“I want you to know that the movement we started is only just beginning,” Trump said.
“We will come back in some form,” he added.
Bannon on Biden
Bannon went on in his podcast to mock the size of the crowd at Joe Biden‘s presidential inauguration, stating that Biden “stole too much.”
The Biden campaign has claimed that the small crowd size was solely due to COVID and the threat of violent protests at the Capitol, but looking at the crowd sizes he had during his campaign makes those claims highly unlikely.
The Trump Movement Continues
If President Trump really does choose to run again in 2024, it is likely that the movement he started in 2016 will be there waiting for him. Even outside the office of the presidency, Trump has amassed such a following that he may continue to stand with his supporters in other ways over the coming years.
