In the latest piece of evidence showing how badly Joe Biden is failing in his duties, a new threat against the U.S. Capitol has emerged.
The terrorist-sponsoring country of Iran has released a “chilling propaganda video depicting a fake attack by its Republican Guard blowing up the US Capitol,” according to reporting by the New York Post.
Just before Ayatollah Ali Khamenei gave a speech praising the Republican Guard on May 2, footage showing the U.S. Capitol engulfed in flames was leaked to Iran’s state-controlled TV.
“The Americans have been for years deeply saddened by the Islamic republic’s influence, and they were angry with General Soleimani for this reason and martyred him for this reason,” Khamenei said in his propaganda-filled speech.
Under President Donald Trump, the top Republican Guard commander, General Qasem Soleimani, was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Baghdad on January 3, 2020.
Republican Senator Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania responded on Twitter to the fake footage, also mentioning another video showing Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif giving a stark view of Iran’s relations with Washington.
“Last week, Iran’s chief diplomat allegedly admitted the IRGC calls the shots in Tehran,” Toomey’s tweet began.
“Now, Iran releases a fake video of the [Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps] blowing up our Capitol. The Biden admin’s priority should be ensuring Iran cannot carry out such an attack, not capitulating by removing sanctions,” he continued.

According to Zarif, Tehran is never going to reach a consensus with the United States, and will never give up its extremist views.
“I believe Iran and the US will never be friends as long as the Islamic republic preserves its identity. Never will our issues with America be resolved,” Zarif said.
Pushing more propaganda, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani declared in a speech on May 2 that the United States had lost an “economic war” against Iran, and claimed that sanctions against the terrorist country are at the “brink of extermination.”
The news of the video conveniently began to circulate as negotiations to revive the disastrous Obama-era Iran nuclear deal are ongoing. The five signatory nations to the pact — China, France, Germany, Russia and the United Kingdom — are currently discussing the deal, thanks to Joe Biden.
President Donald Trump rightfully withdrew from the deal soon after taking office, announcing the withdrawal on May 8, 2018.
According to the New York Post, “Under the deal, Iran received economic benefits in exchange for cutting back on its nuclear program.”
Of course, anyone with an ounce of sanity knew that Iran was not following the terms of the agreement, as the country has never been shy about its support for terrorism and hatred for the United States. This new video just proves it, and shows that the terrorist-sponsoring nation has no respect for — or fear of — the Biden administration.
