Houston, or should I say Ukraine, we have a problem.
Donald Trump is calling in all debts on Ukraine, but President Zelensky is throwing a wrench into the system.
Biden authorized more than $170 billion in aid for Ukraine, but Zelensky is now saying he received less than half that number.
Where Is the Money
We all know Ukraine is corrupt and from the very start of aid showing up, people were dipping their hand in there.
Well, Zelensky is now claiming that they received nothing in money, and that he “only” received about $70 billion equipment and supplies.
He stated, “When I hear – both in the past and even now – from the U.S. that America has provided Ukraine with hundreds of billions, as the president of a nation at war, I can tell you – we’ve received more than $75 billion.
“We’re talking about tangible things because this aid didn’t come as cash but rather as weapons, which amounted to about $70 billion.
“But when it’s said that Ukraine received $200 billion to support the army during the war – that’s not true. I don’t know where all that money went.
“Perhaps it’s true on paper with hundreds of different programmes – I won’t argue, and we’re immensely grateful for everything. But in reality, we received about $76 billion. It’s significant aid, but it’s not $200 billion.”
This was in response to Trump calling in the marker, suggesting that Ukraine can pay us back for the aid they get in minerals, which are needed for EVs, computer chips, etc.
The sad thing about this is that our government probably has no clue what it gave Zelensky, but I sure as heck would be calling all the Biden officials in that oversaw this and demand some answers.
And would do it in a public hearing so the American people can see just how incompetent that administration really was.
