While the Democrat Congressional Leaders of the Biden-Harris regime work feverishly to hijack our election system ensuring their rule is permanent, spend us into oblivion and strip our Second Amendment rights, 5,200 of our troops stand guard. And the regime has such disdain and disgust for those defending them that they are fed meat and poultry that is almost completely raw — with shaved metal in it, with moldy rolls and rotten fruit. Our troops are being poisoned by those they are protecting.

The images are deeply unsettling and the reports are equally so. The reports have come from sources within the Michigan National Guard which makes up about 20% of the 5,200 Guardsmen deployed in the Capitol.
A soldier complained last month that “Multiple soldiers have been getting sick and vomiting after eating,” the Detroit News wrote. Its easy to see why. “Morale is very bad; many have served overseas and cannot believe the quality of food they are being fed here,” the soldier complained.
The New York Post reports,
“An anonymous staff sergeant with the Michigan National Guard told WXYZÂ that the force has repeatedly complained after more than a dozen troops were sickened by undercooked meat.
“Yesterday, for instance, there were 74 different meals found with raw beef in them,” the sergeant told the station Monday, sharing images of meat that looked completely raw in the middle.
“Just yesterday … soldiers had found metal shavings in their food,” he said.”
The situation is so bad that even David Portnoy’s Barstool Sports jumped in reporting food with WORMS in it. (Strong Language)

The Nat’l Guard Makes A Statement, Spurring Congress
The Michigan National Guard has released a statement regarding the issue,
“The Michigan National Guard finds the reports of undercooked and poorly prepared food provided to our service members in Washington, D.C. very concerning. The firsthand accounts and pictures of undercooked food being served clearly shows that what is being given to Michigan’s service members is unacceptable. As soon as the first reports were received, Governor [Gretchen] Whitmer called Acting Secretary of the Army John E. Whitley to communicate Michigan’s concerns. Other Michigan senior leaders also engaged at the highest levels of the federal government to inform those in charge and to ensure that they knew of our displeasure with the conditions. Every assurance was given that the issue would be addressed and corrected.”
Republicans React first, then Democrats follow fearing Backlash
Republican Congressman for Michigan Jack Bergman was not impressed though, especially after he visited the troops last week. Rep. Bergman issued a statement of his own on Tuesday,
“After visiting with our Michigan Guard troops in DC, I have heard from many over the past 48 hours regarding additional issues of contaminated and undercooked food being served. This is unacceptable. Our troops don’t demand a 5-star resort or expensive food, but at a minimum, they deserve meals that are safe to consume. This is an embarrassment for all those responsible for the care of our troops, and must be met with full accountability.”
Democrat lawmakers smelled blood in the water and jumped in as well to get in front of the story. According to Michigan NBC affiliate TV6,
“U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) said the food situation was “absolutely unacceptable!” She said she was pushing for an immediate fix to the problem.
U.S. Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) shared the same sentiment. Peters also sent a letter to Gen. Hokanson, and Acting Secretary of the Army, John E Whitley, saying in part:
“After several attempts to rectify the situation and little progress, I believe that the only appropriate course of action is for the immediate cancellation of the existing food contract, the disbursement of per diem for the remaining duration of the mission and to provide retroactive per diem.”

For perspective, the members of our military acting on orders to protect the politicians eat this in the streets, cheap hotels and parking garages:
