A legendary fake news organization was so eager to gorge themselves on the feast of anti-Trump press that they took a chance at an interview with Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) without asking too many questions. It proved to be an extremely bad decision that has cost them what little credibility they had left. What we’re having trouble figuring out, is how they found someone so fake that they could fake the fakest Senator in America…
NBC Affiliate LEX18 reports,
“The BBC has issued an apology after journalists at the network interviewed an impostor claiming to be Sen. Cory Booker on the air.
BBC Newshour has published the apology on its website, and said that the network interviewed the impostor on air last Friday in what “appears to be a deliberate hoax.”
According to the BBC the interview “only ran once” and no audio or video could be easily located online so its difficult to ascertain how potentially embarrassing this could have been for the radical Democratic-Socialist Senator who once claimed to be “spartacus” during the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The interview was apparently regarding the recently declassified CIA reports that the 2018 murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul, Turkey was ordered by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Everyday Twitter Users broke the news before anyone else did.
@CoryBooker did you do an interview today with the BBC discussing the Khashoggi killing? Someone sounding nothing like you and without your speech pattern was claiming to be you today.

I'm not sure who the BBC World Service just interviewed on Newshour about US relations with Saudi Arabia, but it definitely wasn't Senator Cory Booker…

Listening to the @bbcworldservice Newshour on @wnyc and trying to figure out how they did an entire interview with someone they introduced as Sen. Cory Booker, who I'm pretty sure was definitely not Sen. Booker, and didn't realize it. 🤔

They Wanted Fake Booker To Talk About Jamal Khashoggi And The Saudis
In response to the revelation the US State Department has restricted the visas of 76 Saudi citizens “believed to have been engaged in threatening dissidents overseas, including but not limited to the Khashoggi killing,” according to Biden’s Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Under this so-called “Khashoggi Ban” the US will impose visa restrictions “on people who engage in serious counter-dissident activities on behalf of foreign governments.” This leaves many concerned with the potential impact on Saudi Arabian support for American policy goals in the middle-east.
A White House official suggested no new steps were expected, Reuters reported.
“The aim is a recalibration (of ties) — not a rupture,” a senior Biden official said Sunday. “That’s because of the important interests that we do share.”
The only thing scarier than the BBC’s incompetency in allowing a prankster to pass as a US Senator is the American people allowing the Biden-Harris regime to pass as a legitimate government with a single clue how to handle diplomacy.
