Congressional Republicans are probably about to lose their minds.
Through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, a “smoking gun” document has surfaced.
This all pertains to #WhipGate, and it has conservatives absolutely livid right now.
He Lied
Everyone remembers #Whipgate, right?
A photo showed up that from the angle looked like an illegal was getting whipped but it was just the double reins of the agent’s horse.
Biden slammed the agents on horseback, jumping to conclusions, stating, “To see people treated like they did, horses barely running over, people being strapped — it’s outrageous.
“I promise you, those people will pay.
“There will be an investigation underway now, and there will be consequences.
“There will be consequences.”
Not long after Biden spoke, DHS Secretary Mayorkas and other DHS officials received an email from Marsha Espinosa, assistant secretary of DHS public affairs.
She had been in contact with the journalist that took the photo that started this whole mess.
He told her that he did NOT see any migrants getting whipped; it was just the angle of the photo that made it appear that way.
After receiving that email, Mayorkas did a presser with then-White House Secretary Jen Psaki.
He stated, “Our nation saw horrifying images that do not reflect who we are.
“We know that those images painfully conjured up the worst elements of our nation’s ongoing battle against systemic racism.”
He never mentioned the email.
We have to assume he shared that email with Biden and Harris, yet all of them continued to push this narrative against the agents.
They knew the truth and blatantly lied to gaslight this nation.
Mayorkas must be impeached… end of discussion.
