The prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden needs to have all the special superpowers he can get, more than 30 Senate Republicans insist. They’re demanding that Gestapo General Merrick Garland give U.S. Attorney David Weiss “special counsel authority.”

Special prosecutor authority

Federal attorney David Weiss needs to be given the same special prosecutor status as John Durham. That’s the only way the so called investigation into Hunter Biden will ever see the light of day.

Texas Senator John Cornyn teamed up with Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, from Kentucky, to “warn of potential political interference.” Its hard to imagine that the laptop from hell will get the thorough going over required. Over 30 conservatives endorsed the final letter.

As detailed by Senator Grassley, ‘highly credible‘ whistleblowers have come forward to detail a ‘widespread effort within the FBI to downplay or discredit negative information about‘ Hunter Biden,” Cornyn writes to Garland. We need a special prosecutor because “instead of encouraging FBI and DOJ whistleblowers to report crimes and promote government transparency, you took the inexplicable step of chilling lawful whistleblower activity.

The Gestapo General previously made it crystal clear, when he approved the raid on Donald Trump, that the Just Us Department really runs this country. Anything that the Federal Bureau of Instigation does is totally legal, always. Questioning the actions of the FBI is sedition and they’ll prosecute to the full extent of the law.

In fact, the letter continues, “on August 30, 2022, you issued a memorandum prohibiting DOJ and FBI employees from communicating with ‘Senators, Representatives, congressional committees, or congressional staff without advance coordination, consultation and approval by OLA.‘”

If that isn’t a chilling message, what is? Make everyone happy and give the prosecutor special status.

A critical stage

With the raid on Mar-A-Lago and an upcoming mid-term election, the Hunter Biden probe has reached a “critical stage.” It’s become painfully clear to the administration that officials have to charge him for something.

They have a few crimes to chose from, “tax violations, possible foreign lobbying violations and more.” By more, Fox avoids saying influence peddling and conspiracy. Garland doesn’t want to give Weiss special prosecutor privileges because he was a Trump appointee.

The senators are well aware that making Weiss a Special Prosecutor would soothe anxious conservatives who expect another case of Hunter being called careless but not criminal like Hillary Clinton was.

Given the politicization of the DOJ under your watch and the importance of avoiding any appearance of impropriety, the undersigned request that you provide U.S. Attorney Weiss the full protections and authorities of a special counsel.

This is one important action that you can take that will go a long way to restoring faith in our governmental institutions.” Its still going to be a long, long time before anyone trusts the FBI. GG Garland isn’t happy about having to come up with an answer. Making Weiss a Special Prosecutor is the last thing he wants to do.

Garland “declined to specifically address the issue of whether to appoint a special counsel to look into the younger Biden and his business affairs.” He’s ducking for cover. “The question of whether to have a special counsel is one that’s internal decision-making in the department so I don’t want to make any judgments one way or another. But I’m quite comfortable with the United States attorney for that district continuing in the role he’s playing.
