What a shocker: the story about the death of former President Barack Obama‘s personal chef is not entirely what it was made out to be. But then again, didn’t we all know that already?
In July, the drowned body of Tafari Campbell, the private chef of former President Obama, was found in a pond on Martha’s Vineyard near the Obamas’ estate. The police quickly ruled it an accident but then redacted records from Massachusetts State Police indicated that Barack Obama was present at an eyewitness interview related to this death investigation.
This raises some questions about why he would be there and who that mysterious witness is.
The call log of the 911 call about Obama’s chef drowning was left blank. Every other call that night has a reason listed.

Tafari Campbell had been part of the Obama family since they left the White House and his death came as a shock. According to reports, within days after his body was found in Edgartown Great Pond, police had ruled it an accident without answering any questions from media about who witnessed this incident or why Campbell was characterized as not being “a great swimmer” despite videos showing him swimming well in social media posts.
Suspiciously there wasn’t any record of call from that night either where someone reported his drowning – though Bruce McNamee said this could be because whoever called may have called a police business line instead of 911.
JUST IN: Obama was reportedly ‘at the emergency response scene’ after his chef Tafari Campbell drowned near his residence.
According to Judicial Watch, records obtained from the Massachusetts State Police ‘indicate’ that Obama was present for a witness interview.

Records show that Barack Obama arrived at the scene via motorcade when a witness interview took place at their residence shortly after which a cold wet woman (the witness) also arrived at their home. It seems like she saw everything since she told investigators that she saw Campbell fall off his paddleboard and become really panicked before quickly going underwater yelling for help while she couldn’t reach him due to murky water.
Surveillance footage shows two people entering water with paddleboards and Secret Service agents running towards shoreline launching boat for rescue swimmers soon after. This indicates that even they were aware something happened on shoreline though they too don’t know who is responsible for calling them or what really happened there, eventually leading to conclusion by police report ruling out foul play and stating it all as an accident with no suspicious intent involved.
