The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has been hard at work trying to protect old Joe behind the scenes from potential primary challengers. And while it appears that their tactics have been working so far, apparently nothing they could’ve done would’ve stopped Biden’s name from being kicked off a key early primary ballot.
Despite being an incumbent president, Joe Biden will not appear on New Hampshire’s ballot during its early primary election. This breaks with centuries-old tradition and reveals that even though the DNC is attempting to shield him from competition, it doesn’t have enough power to keep his name on a key state’s ballot.
Biden to stay off New Hampshire primary ballot amid dispute over ‘first-in-the-nation’ status

Hillary Clinton tried something similar in 2008 when she had her delegates removed from Michigan and Florida after they moved up their primary dates without permission of party leaders however, this time around, even though it still appears as if some political maneuvering is at play behind closed doors, nothing can be done about New Hampshire’s decision.
Kennedy originally announced his campaign as a Democratic challenger for President Joe Biden, but dropped it in October after frustrations with his party led him to pursue an independent run instead. The DNC refused hold debates even with two challengers present (Kennedy and Marianne Williamson) making it hard for either candidate’s message or policies to gain traction with voters before November’s election.
So how might all this benefit Donald Trump?
A recent Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey revealed some interesting results when asked who voters supported among three possible candidates – Trump, Biden or Kennedy – 39% said Trump, 33% said Biden and 19% said Kennedy however 42% of undecided respondents chose Trump if forced into making a decision at all. If Kennedy is taken out of equation altogether then Trump takes lead 46-41%.
Do we think this will be enough secure another term for Donald J. Trump?
