Kamala Harris has been snubbed again.
Democrats surely thought the Teamsters union would fall in line and support her, but they decided to sit out the election.
The International Association of Fire Fighters also decided to sit out the election but unlike the Teamsters Union, this is what membership chose.
We Don’t Like Her
For these major unions to be snubbing Democrats, well, it sure says an awful lot about Kamala Harris.
The Teamsters were not impressed with Harris, but after taking a membership survey, two of them actually, membership overwhelmingly supported backing Donald Trump.
Leadership, however, decided to go undecided, and simply stated that it would be sitting out the election.
Virtually the same thing happened with the IAFF, only their membership decided by less than two percent to sit out the election.
Rather than go against membership, like the Teamsters did, the IAFF announced it would not be endorsing any candidate in this race.
Union President Edward A. Kelly said the union board “determined that we are better able to advocate for our members and make progress on the issues that matter to them if we, as a union, are standing shoulder-to-shoulder.
“This decision, which we took very seriously, is the best way to preserve and strengthen our unity.”
Keep in mind, Joe Biden handed unions $36 billion in taxpayer money to top off their pensions, and these two major unions still passed.
I am not as interested in the union endorsement as I am in seeing how membership is voting for these unions.
Cleary, membership is no longer loyal to Democrats, and that is a huge demographic that the Democrat Party cannot afford to lose.
