They’ve Been ACQUITTED… Trump Celebrates

I am sure that Donald Trump is quite happy with the outcome of a recent court case for some of his supporters.

A large group of Trump supporters were on trial for allegedly trying to intimidate a Biden-Harris campaign bus full of staffers.

The jury did not see it that way, and all but one walked free.

Not Guilty

The case made headlines several months ago when three of the defendants reached a plea deal.

They publicly apologized for their alleged behavior, and the charges were dropped. Six of the defendants, however, refused to budge.

According to the filing, the group was part of a large Trump caravan, who spotted the campaign bus on the highway, then proceeded to box the bus in.

Their speed was then reduced to about 15 mph, with those on the bus saying they were terrified at the time.

Former Texas State Senator Wendy Davis (D) was among those on the bus, having testified, “I feel like they were enjoying making us afraid. It’s traumatic for all of us to revisit that day.”

The judge and jury, however, did not see it that way.

All but one of the defendants were acquitted, with only Eliazer Cisneros being ordered to pay a total of $40,000 in damages.

That was because Cisneros reportedly brushed up against the vehicle while trying to box the bus in.

I have to say, I was really surprised at the verdict, and I am sure the staffers were disappointed, but they do things a little differently down in Texas!
