Kamala Harris Abandoned, They Want NOTHING To Do with Her

We all know that for the most part, our media is left-leaning.

To that point, most major publications will usually endorse the Democrat in the race and tell us all how horrible the conservative candidate is.

That is not happening this time around, and the non-endorsement seems to be far more meaningful than the actual endorsement.

Numb To It All

We are all so used to seeing major news outlets endorse Democrats, we have just become numb to it.

When the endorsement comes out, for that reason, I don’t think it is all that big of a deal.

However, when publications with a long history of endorsing Democrats decide to sit out the election, well, that is big news.

For Harris, that has now happened with three major publications and a handful of local publications.

For instance, the LA Times stopped endorsing candidates after Nixon and Watergate, but resumed again when Obama ran for office in 2008. The paper has since endorsed Democrats in every race.

This time, however, due to the support for Israel during its war against Hamas, the LA Times pulled its endorsement (that should give you an idea of how far left our media has gone in this country).

Then the Washington Post decided to snub Harris and get out of the endorsement game as well.

This week, USA Today also decided to sit out the race.

Matt Walsh, head of the School of Journalism, Media and Culture at Cardiff University, U.K., offered some insight, stating, “Some newspapers are refusing to risk endorsing a presidential candidate for two reasons. Firstly, this is a moral failure by newspapers, which are failing their audiences by refusing to make clear judgments about the candidates.

“But it also demonstrates the increasing weakness of legacy media—newspapers are no longer financially robust and are unwilling to risk losing subscribers by supporting candidates in a polarized election.”

As far as local publications go, the Sun Sentinel in Florida, the Minnesota Star Tribune (Tim Walz’s home state paper), the Tampa Bay Times, and Omaha World-Heral are all sitting this one out.

I think that should tell you all you need to know about the confidence in regard to Kamala Harris right now.

Think about it… last time around, all these papers endorsed Joe Biden, a man who hid in his basement, but now they are refusing to endorse a candidate on the left who has a chance to make history as not only the first woman president, but the first black woman president, and they want nothing to do with her.
