This weekend, reports blew up that a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by government watchdog Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) exposed some problems with some emails from Kerry’s office.
The emails had the names and email addresses completely redacted.
This was odd because this is a government office, so employees and emails are generally public record.
So, why were they redacted?
We Called it
When the reports first went out, there was only one logical reason for the heavy redaction of this information…
John Kerry was getting counsel from outside interest groups.
As it turns out, that is exactly the case.
When the emails were finally revealed, there were leaders of 13 environmental groups included.
If this sounds familiar, it should, because this is exactly what happened with the teachers’ union for COVID school policies.
Biden was allowing his donors to have input in policy decisions.
When you add in the fact some of these emails were talking about keeping things “off paper,” well, we have a big problem.
PPT Director Michael Chamberlain stated, “Just as FOIA revealed that teachers’ unions exerted undue influence in the development of policy regarding school reopening, these conversations seem to provide evidence that large, powerful activist organizations may be pushing the same expensive climate policy that just passed as what some are terming the ‘Green New Deal Lite.’
“For an administration claiming to be guided by the science, there are more than a few indications that the input of their political allies may be a bigger driver of policy.
“Little wonder that the American public’s trust in its government is in free fall.”
If you still trust this administration, you are a fool.
