Elites Caught on Video

In yet another instance of the elites violating lockdown orders while ordinary citizens suffer, reports have uncovered the existence of secret restaurants serving members of the French elite, which potentially includes government ministers.

A video shared to Twitter shows one of these rule-breaking secret restaurants full of maskless guests openly kissing each other and violating social distancing. Dinners at the restaurant reportedly cost as much as €490 euros per person – or almost $600 each – which shows that the restaurant caters exclusively to the wealthy elite.

“Caviar, champagne, menus from top chefs and compulsory mask removal … Our journalists were able to enter these high standing clandestine parties which are currently being held in Paris,” the tweet, originally in French, reads.

ZeroHedge reports:

“According to an anonymous organizer of such events, later revealed to be Pierre-Jean Chalencon, the owner of the Palais Vivienne, they are occurring two or three times a week and are attended by government ministers.

Chalencon subsequently claimed that he was joking when he admitted to the infractions.”

An investigation into the events has been launched by Paris’ chief prosecutor Remy Heitz, who says that both the organizers and participants will be prosecuted.

“If ministers or deputies have broken the rules, they must pay fines and be penalized like any other citizen,” said junior minister Marlene Schiappa.

These wealthy French citizens are just the latest example of the elites of the world violating lockdown orders. Many political elites in the United States have been caught in the act, including John Kerry, Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and CNN host Chris Cuomo.
