Corruption UNCOVERED…It’s a BRIBE

Our government is corrupt.

Not only is it corrupt, but they do also not even try to hide it.

As long as we have rich people who are able to make large contributions to campaigns, it will never have the concerns of the American people as its main concern.

How Is This Not a Bribe

Case in point…

Tegna is a publicly traded chain of 64 local TV stations that was a spinoff from Gannett in 2015.

The chain is now looking to sell to hedge fund Standard General for $8.6 billion.

Byron Allen is also interested in Tegna.

Allen has his own billion-dollar media empire, and he is hoping to add Tegna to his stable, so he would like to see that sale not go through.

He is also a deep-pocketed donor for Democrats, recently spending $500,000 with Democrat campaigns and a whopping $271,300 to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Pelosi, in turn, sent a letter to the FEC in October asking them to look into sale because it has raised some concerns for her.

Craig Holman, the Capitol Hill lobbyist for the advocacy group Public Citizen, and someone that has worked with Pelosi in the past, even admitted it does not look good.

He stated, “If she is helping out a major donor it doesn’t look good, quite frankly.

“When it comes to campaign finance, this is often how it works. A donor gives money with the expectation of some return.”

This is a bribe, period, and there is no way I could be convinced otherwise.

Filings do not show any previous donations by Allen to Pelosi, yet he conveniently makes a monster donation at the same time she is trying to block a sale that would benefit Allen.

Do they think we are that stupid that we cannot see this connection?
