A drunken bar brawl was caught on camera, and as the video makes the rounds online, people are lamenting how far our civilization has fallen.
In a video shared on Twitter by Dallas Texas TV, a group of guys who appear to be in a bar or a club start an all-out brawl.
It starts with one “punch” from a guy trying to hide behind a pillar, and soon draws several men into a crowd of what honestly looks more like pushing and slapping than an actual fist fight.
“Next time, just grab another drink and chill the hell out. There’s literally no need for any of this nonsense, especially when you’re an adult,” writes The Daily Caller.
It’s true, there is no need for this kind of nonsense as an adult. Though we don’t know what the fight was about, it seems pretty clear that it couldn’t be that important.

Despite the fact that I miss the days when men were “real men,” this behavior is unacceptable. First of all, does that even count as a real punch?
But really, is this the kind of behavior we should be celebrating? The curse of smartphones and the internet is the fact that every toxic moment becomes a viral video for people to laugh at and share with their friends.
Instead of sharing positive moments, we focus on ridiculous fights and reveling in the embarrassment of other people.
The purpose of this article isn’t to share some laughs at the misfortune of others, or celebrate a lame fight, it is to highlight the degeneracy pervading our culture and to ask: how can we fix this before it’s too late?
