Political analyst Jonathan Turley advises America not to buy Joe Biden’s story that he was “surprised” by the classified documents he had squirreled away. The papers had been moved “at least twice.” Everyone is wondering when the FBI will be raiding his homes looking for more.
More classified documents in Joe’s garage
The first batch of classified Documents were lurking in Joe’s office closet at a Democrat think-tank. More were found stashed in Joe’s garage. Everyone on the blue team was aware of the first set, since well before the midterms, but they’re just now admitting it. Along with the news of what they had been concealing from the public comes fresh reports of more secret papers.
Gestapo General Merrick Garland is scrambling to control the damage. As Turley points out, Garlands “decisions” are “fast moving from the inexplicable to incomprehensible.” Conservative Americans are wondering how many of his crimes need to be exposed before he gets yanked from his post and investigated. Better yet, tossed in a cell.
Garland doesn’t have a single shred of plausible deniability this time. The Gestapo General was “presumably briefed that classified documents were discovered in Joe Biden’s old office on November 2.” That was only days before another hotly controversial election. Garland “also presumably knew about the Biden documents when he appointed a special counsel to investigate the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago 16 days later.” Where’s the special counsel investigating Joe Biden? No, there isn’t a one sided system of justice at the Just Us Department or anything, Garland insists. That’s a lie. Everyone knows it’s as twisted as a Möbius strip. Senators Grassley and Johnson are furious.

“In light of the recent news regarding the inappropriate storage of classified documents, the White House must immediately provide transparency relating to then-Vice President Biden’s archiving of records.” They want it all by January 25.
When Garland appointed Jack Smith as the newest Grand Inquisitor to start a Trump-Russia collusion witch hunt, through the nefarious classified documents stashed in a basement at Mar-a-Lago, Turley and others “noted the inexplicable refusal of Garland to appoint a special counsel to look into alleged Biden influence peddling and other crimes.”
Meanwhile, “Garland continued to refuse such an appointment even as he justified the appointment of Smith on the basis that Trump was running for the presidency. Joe Biden is the president. What is the difference?”
Joe not as surprised as he claims
The only thing Joe Biden can say in his own defense is that he was surprised. He’s not surprised the classified records are there, he’s surprised he got caught stashing them. “By not discussing the content of the documents, Biden minimizes his vulnerability to charges of obstruction or false statements.”
In other words, he’s gracefully invoking the Fifth Amendment and trying not to incriminate himself. As Turley writes, Joe “can simply declare ‘surprise,‘ knowing that many in the media will welcome his silence as they spin the scandal.”
The first stash of classified documents came to light “six days before midterm elections at a think tank affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania.” Biden has an explanation for why they are there but that raises even more red flags. “There are some obvious explanations for the documents being present in the office, particularly given Biden’s work on a book that discussed his work in some of the referenced countries like Ukraine.”
DOOCY: "Classified materials next to your Corvette?! What were you thinking?"
BIDEN: "My Corvette's in a locked garage so it's not like it's sitting on the street."
DOOCY: "So the material was in a locked garage?"
BIDEN: "Yes— as well as my Corvette."

He left office in 2017 but had space at the think-tank from “after finishing his term until 2019.” The Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement didn’t open for business until February 8, 2018. “Hunter Biden is also shown to have discussed the center in emails before its launch,” Fox News reports.
“So if these documents were removed when Biden left office, where were they in the prior year and were they moved repeatedly before they ended up in the Washington office?” Turley thinks that suggests a pattern. “This does not appear a ‘one-and-done‘ mistake. Rather documents may have been at various locations over a five year period.”
That means Joe is spewing fertilizer by claiming total ignorance. The FBI is supposed to be doing two things, “secure the highly classified documents and then determine whether they may have been compromised.” That means an investigation. Maybe someday, they might start one. That won’t happen until after GG Garland is gone.
