Michael Van der Veen is fed up with the political propaganda rhetoric and one-sided media spin. Former President Donald Trump’s defense attorney verbally sliced and diced CBS talking head Lana Zak and roasted her with a blaze of table-side flames like he moonlights as a chef for Benihana.

After a full seven minute rant that left the anchorwoman speechless, he dropped his microphone on the floor and walked away. This is one video you really do need to watch all the way until the end.

Unfair propaganda questions

CBS News won’t be inviting Michael Van der Veen in front of their cameras anytime soon. He launched into a full seven minute rant about the propaganda they spew on a daily basis. The attorney demands to know why the media can’t tell the truth, or at least report issues fairly.

It all started when CBS talking head Lana Zak started asking loaded questions. The first one was whether Van der Veen may be part of Trump’s defense team should more charges be brought against the former president. He called the slanderous statement out as “political rhetoric” and that wasn’t even the beginning.

Trump had no part whatsoever in the insurrection, despite the liberal propaganda. The barbarian invasion that happened on “Q” that day was “horrific” but “what happened at the Capitol during this trial was not too far away from that.”

Not only was it a total “kangaroo court,” the prosecutors got caught doctoring the evidence and didn’t even bother to deny it when they got caught. When Zak tried to downplay the evidence, Van der Veen came unglued.

Obviously trying to regain control of the narrative, Zak jumped in “to be clear for our viewers, what you’re talking about now is a check-mark that’s a verification on Twitter that did not exist on that particular tweet, a 2020 that should have actually read 2021, and the selective editing, you say, of the tapes.”

He instantly picked up the propaganda in the tone of her voice. “Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,” he sputtered. “That’s not enough for you? That’s not enough for you?” He answered his own rhetorical question. “It’s not okay to doctor a little bit of evidence!” That’s like being a little bit pregnant.

Blood-thirsty for ratings

The news media wouldn’t be so much of a propaganda mill if they weren’t so “blood-thirsty for ratings” Van der Veen scolded. He called the anchor out for the “slanted question that was set up to say ‘it’s okay for them to cheat,'” He warned that “the media has to start telling the right story in this country.

The media is trying to divide this country.” He’s totally right and everyone knows it. “Your coverage is so slanted it’s got to stop. You guys have to stop and start reporting more like PBS does rather than a TV news show that doesn’t have any journalistic integrity at all.”

Calling out the media propaganda was just the topper for a perfect week. Vandals also targeted his home. The word “traitor” was sprayed in red paint across his driveway. Around 8 p.m. on Friday, his wife discovered the graffiti at their suburban Philadelphia home.

According to local detective Scott Pezick of the West Whiteland Township Police Department, “She came home saw it in the driveway and called the police,” Pezick said, adding “Private security has since been hired by the homeowner to protect the residence, and police presence has been beefed up.”

Just for standing up to defend the former president against bogus charges and calling the media out for biased propaganda has resulted in illegal threats and intimidation.

But law enforcement has to be left to hired private professionals. “My entire family, my business, my law firm are under siege right now.”
