Trump Charges Announced… GOP in Shock

Trump Vindicated

While Donald Trump’s legal problems have all been pretty much put on ice, that is not the case for those who tried to help him flip the election in 2020.

For the most part, Trump’s cases are either dropped or delayed, but the prosecution of his co-defendants will continue as will the prosecutions related to the election.

One such case is the fake electors’ case in Wisconsin, and there are several other cases pending along the same front.

Still Moving Forward

To the point mentioned above, three individuals who were trying to help Trump during the 2020 election cycle just had 10 more felony counts dropped on each of them.

Attorneys Jim Troupis and Kenneth Chesebro, as well as Election Day Operations aide Mike Roman, were all informed of the additional charges.

The new charges are for defrauding the 10 presidential electors who voted for Trump in the election.

Each charge carries a maximum of a six-year sentence and as much as a $10,000 fine, so this is a pretty staggering development for those three men.

This particular group had allegedly lined up replacement electors, reportedly even trying to present them to Mike Pence during the election certification.

Chesebro, the alleged mastermind of the scheme, had filed several motions attempting to have the charges dismissed, claiming he only did this to protect Trump’s legal options regarding the outcome of the election.

Needless to say, he has not won any of those motions and the case will continue to move forward.

In addition to this case, there are fake electors’ cases in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Nevada.

I am really curious to see what Trump does in these cases as they are not related to the January 6 defendants from the riot at the Capitol, who Trump has vowed to pardon.

The irony of all this is that while Trump is headed back to the White House, many of the people who helped his narrative on the 2020 election are all headed to jail.
