As all of you know, there have now been two assassination attempts against Donald Trump.
Suspect Ryan Routh is currently charged with gun possession crimes and that will likely only be the beginning of charges he ends up with.
There have been several other incidents that were stopped before people had a chance to get anywhere near Trump.
Now, the Trump campaign is pointing the finger at Democrats, saying their dangerous rhetoric has encouraged these attempts on Trump’s life.
Fired Up
Dems have been all over Trump since he announced that he was going to run again, but a new round of attacks was fired up after The Atlantic published a hit piece against Trump last week.
The media is grasping for straws trying to help Harris right now because polls are all showing Trump with momentum.
The piece drudged up old hits against Trump, including former staffers claiming that Trump was obsessed with Hitler, and all kinds of fun things like that.
Harris used that piece in more attacks against Trump, likening him to Hitler as well as the usual danger to Democracy line.
Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung responded, “She continues to stoke the flames of violence all in the name of politics.”
The Mississippi Republican Party added, “This type of rhetoric is dangerous to the life of Donald Trump and our Democracy as we know it.”
Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) also commented, stating “These dangerous rants by Kamala Harris, comparing President Trump to Hitler and calling him a fascist, are inciting more hate and vitriol, and ultimately leading to political violence against President Trump.
“It has to stop. This is extremely reckless and dangerous, and we have seen its consequences time and time again. ‘
“How many more assassination attempts will it take before Democrat leaders tone down their rhetoric?”
Senator JD Vance (R-OH), Trump’s VP, also went off, stating, “No one has tried to kill Kamala Harris in the last couple of months, and two people have tried to kill Donald Trump.
“I say that’s strong evidence that the left needs to tone down the rhetoric and cut this crap out, somebody is going to get hurt.”
I don’t care what Democrats say, they know this rhetoric has some lunatic in his basement all fired up that he is going to save the world by murdering Donald Trump.
They say they are happy the assassination attempts were not successful, but I would bet that behind closed doors, they were all fuming that Trump managed to escape with only a small wound on his ear.
