Little Petey Buttigieg is not quite as innocent as he may seem.
Government watchdog Americans for Public Trust (APT) got its hands on Buttigieg’s calendar and it is packed with meetings with groups tied to dark money donations.
Yet again, while the Dems preach about how dark money runs the GOP, it is actually the other way around.
Who Is Calling the Shots
It is not out of the ordinary for any administration to meet with an outside group.
However, when those groups are adding language and helping to craft legislation that will ultimately benefit their cause, that is a problem.
Buttigieg has been holding meetings with the League of Conservation Voters (LCV), Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Securing America’s Future Energy (SAFE), and Climate Action Campaign (CAC), just to name a few of the groups.
All these groups are tied to dark money donations in the millions.
Caitlin Sutherland, the executive director of APT, stated, “Supply chains have collapsed, gas prices are at a record high and air travel is a disaster, but instead of fixing these problems, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has decided to team up with dark money groups to implement their extremist policies that hurt everyday Americans.”
Sutherland continued, “Buttigieg and the Biden administration’s priorities are completely out of touch with what the average family needs the most right now.”
We know John Kerry has been doing the same thing on the climate front, so this is now the second Biden official bending the knee to leftist organizations.
So, I ask again, exactly who is this administration beholden to… the American people or its big-money donors?
I think we all know the answer to that question.
