The final few moments of Tampa rapper Rollie Bands’ life is destined to be turned into a hit rap song. Come and get me, the hip hopper taunted on Instagram. He made the fatal mistake of saying where.

Rapper so cool he’s ice cold

The last five minutes of life went fast for rapper Rollie Bands. A suicide note he posted on Instagram declares: “If a n***a want smoke I’m at my crib in 5 mins.

Five minutes later, he was dead. Gunned down right outside his Tampa, Florida apartment. He asked for it, he got it. Right around 3:30 p.m. on July 22.

Obviously, the IQ Apartments aren’t full of rocket scientists. According to police, they discovered him “in the parking lot,” still breathing. Paramedics hustled him off to the hospital but the popular rapper “later died from his injuries.

He should have seen it coming. “A lot of these n****s know where I live at fr [for real]. I sleep in peace.” He may rest in peace but he isn’t gonna wake up now.

Just in case his enemies didn’t know where to find him, Bands decided to spell it out. He probably should not have done that.

As Daily Mail reports, after “taunting his rivals, the rapper then provided his location. Five minutes later, he was gunned down in the exact location he said he would be.

Suspects fled the scene

Deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office confirm that they “received a report of a man being shot in the apartment complex’s parking lot.” Bands “was on the ground with a gunshot wound. The suspects, who fled the scene in an unknown direction, remain at large.” There won’t be many clues and the rapper practically drew a big red target on his back.

They think there is a chance they still might find out who pulled the trigger. It’s pretty obvious that “the suspects knew and targeted Rollie Bands.” They aren’t sure how many assassins there were but they’ll go through all the camera footage and see who’s cell phones pinged which towers.

The late rapper was born, raised and died in Tampa. Fans say that Rollie Bands is best known for soulful love ballads like “Struggle, Reminiscin, and Close Ties.”

Police don’t have much to say right now, other than “at this time, the shooting does not appear random, as the suspects and victim are possibly known to each other.” He left behind a young daughter. His Instagram profile mentions she’s “the only person I live for.

Ever since his sudden demise, fans and enemies alike have been flooding his social media accounts. The rapper seems to have had plenty of both. This isn’t the first time that something like this happened. Pop Smoke made the big mistake of revealing his address on line.

Unlike Rollie Bands, Pop Smoke did it by mistake. A delivery address label appeared onscreen in one of his posts. He also liked to flash around really fat stacks of cash. He had a huge wad in the same shot as the location of the Airbnb he was staying at in February of 2020.
