A U.S. Navy destroyer was ordered to patrol our southern border with Tomahawk missiles. Matching that up with recent news that the Pentagon sent Stryker combat vehicles to line up along the Rio Grande indicates more bad news to come. For the Mexican cartels.

Border skirmish brewing

The Pentagon raised eyebrows over the weekend by announcing on March 15 that they’re sending a warship to patrol the southern border. Everyone knows that all the way along the Mexican frontier is a stretch of sandy desert.

The Navy won’t have to try sailing up the Rio Grande, they can hang back in the Gulf of America and target anywhere in northern Mexico with Tomahawk cruise missiles.

That indicates that the USS Gravely, “an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer,” will be used to provide air support and intelligence for an upcoming “incursion.” Back in February, Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered the deployment of some armored mobile artillery to the border.

It takes the form of “2,500 to 3,000 active-duty troops,” including “soldiers from a motorized brigade equipped with 20-ton armored Stryker combat vehicles.” Each one holds “up to 11 soldiers” and they’re “equipped with a machine gun or grenade launcher.

That looks a whole lot like President Trump is about to put the smuggling cartels out of business.

Aboard the Gravely there’s “a specialized Coast Guard maritime policing team, known as a Law Enforcement Detachment.” The Mexicans can expect a hot time along the border real soon.

Protect the United States

According to Northern Command leader General Gregory Guillot, “Gravely’s sea-going capacity improves our ability to protect the United States’ territorial integrity, sovereignty and security.

They can protect the border and a wide strip on either side, from anywhere in U.S. or International water they want.

The best defense, President Trump points out, is a quick and devastating offense. He’s been using the same shock and awe tactics against Democrats. He’s fully in charge of the House, Senate and Pentagon.

President Trump is about to put the smuggling cartels out of business.

Nothing can stand in his way of Making America Great Again. Not even federal judges. The president already has “declared a national emergency on the border.” That clears the way for drastic action.

As commander in chief, I have no higher responsibility than to defend our country from threats and invasions, and that is exactly what I am going to do,” Trump promised the day he was sworn back in.

Admiral Daryl Caudle of the Naval Forces Northern Command notes this latest deployment “marks a vital enhancement to our nation’s border security framework.” Defense Secretary Hegseth promises “any assets necessary at the Defense Department to support the expulsion and detention of those in the country illegally are on the table.” Even if it means nuking Guadalajara.
