The Washington Post has decided to turn into state-run media.
With Republicans poised to challenge Biden’s student loan forgiveness in court, the Post has resorted to scare tactics to get support for the program.
The Post is now warning that there could be dire consequences if the GOP challenges and wins.
Scare Tactics
The Post predicted that “a legal battle could carry stark financial consequences for millions of student borrowers, who rejoiced last week after Democrats delivered on a long-standing promise to erase some of their debt.”
Michael Loomus, who owes student loan debt told the paper, “It just seems they are continuously trying to keep borrowers in debt.
“I don’t make a lot of money … and before this, it just felt like I’d never pay off my loans.”
Well, if you did not have the money to repay the loan, why did you take it in the first place?
Is this really about the program or is this about something else?
It is the latter, of course, and that something else is about votes.
You better believe the people who benefit from this program will vote Democrat.
If their little $10,000 gift gets pulled back, they will probably sit out the election out of spite against Biden for not delivering for them.
That is what the Post is really worried about.
They are pushing this because they do not want to see Republicans back in charge.
The Post, in essence, just went to work for the Democrat Party and this administration.
There is a phrase that describes that… state-run media.
