Leading by example, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot ignores the law every chance she gets. She racked up a whole stack of speeding and red light citations but the police have no plans of arresting her driver. They can’t even get her to pay the tickets. It’s no wonder everyone in the Windy City reaches for a gun over frivolous nonsense.
Lori Lightfoot has a lead-foot driver
Laws are like, so last century :), especially in Chicago, Illinois where Democracy means the progressive flavor of anarchy. After all the lesbian chuckles, she’s “the mayor with the balls.”
Reports are making the network media rounds that “multiple police-driven vehicles used to transport Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot have reportedly racked up multiple traffic tickets.” Her hypocrisy is on full display because the liberal leader is a big fan of speed cameras.
As announced on July 25, “two of the SUVs used to shuttle Lightfoot throughout Chicago have accumulated three speed camera tickets and two warnings in the past month.” Lori just laughs at the law until her eyes bug out.

“The tickets have so far gone unpaid.” Those aren’t the only ones. Lightfoot is such a deadbeat that back in 2020 “the city of Chicago dismissed the majority of tickets that were issued to Lightfoot’s security team, which included tickets given at times the mayor was attending non-city related events.”
Regarding the most recent infractions, “one of the SUVs in the mayor’s fleet has a red light ticket that has not been paid and two SUVs that were previously assigned to Lightfoot’s security detail have outstanding speed and red light tickets.”
Lori has the city clerks going spastic because “one of those SUVs is eligible to be booted and impounded over the lack of payment.”
In school zones
Even school zones don’t matter when Lori Lightfoot feels the need for speed. The kids don’t mean a thing either. “Two of the speed violations committed by Lightfoot’s SUVs reportedly occurred in school zones and the citations stated that school children were present.”
Running over a few toddlers was a risk she simply had to take to meet her deadline. It wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t enforce a major crackdown on everyone else.
Lori Lightfoot is so far above the law that her drivers get a 007 license to speed and run red lights like a drunk driver on meth.
Meanwhile, the mayor “supported a push to lower the ‘buffer zone‘ threshold that speed cameras allow before issuing a citation from 10 mph to 6 mph, arguing that it will make roads safer.” It won’t make roads safer but it will make the city treasurer smile.
“No one likes speed cameras. I get it,” Lori Lightfoot was quoted saying just last month. “But this is life or death that we’re talking about here, and we’ve got to step up as a city and address this.” She probably got her snapshot taken by one of those cameras on the way to the speech.
As she blew through the school zone, she pointed to “the potential dangers to kids” which such laws prevent. “It is unconscionable that any City Council member would consider voting to allow for increased speeds near spaces utilized by our children.” Half of America wonders what speed her ride was clocked at that day.
