What is it about Democrats that makes them try to speak like locals wherever they go?
For instance, Harris recently gave the same exact speech in two different parts of the country.
When she was in Pittsburgh, she was pretty straightforward, yet when she gave the same speech in Detroit, her nasally California voice was gone, and she sounded like a rejected preacher from Sunday school.
Caught Pandering
Barack Obama was the master at changing his accent and tone to match the city where he was talking.
When he was in the north, his usual Chicago accent was in play.
However, throw him down in the South, and Obama sounded like a preacher, something that Harris is apparently trying to emulate.
Harris was in Detroit on Labor Day to pander to the unions, stating, “You better thank a union member for the five-day work week.
“You better thank a union member for sick leave. You better thank a union member for paid leave. You better thank a union member for vacation time.”
As we noted above, she gave the same exact speech in Pittsburgh, but watch the video below and see how differently she presented herself…

Needless to say, Republican surrogates piled on, with Trump senior advisor Stephen Miller stating, “This is her seventh new accent in four weeks.
“She has literally never used this accent before. She grew up in Canada. Phoniest politician in all of politics.”
GOP strategist Matt Whitlock added, “All of politics is a performance to Kamala Harris.
“She changes fake accents like she changes policy positions and political personas.
“Today she’s talking in a fake southern accent, pretending to be a moderate.
“Next week she’ll be back to San Francisco liberal.”
The White House was asked about her new accent, and KJP laughed it off, but the question is legitimate.
It is not about the accent; it is about her authenticity, and Harris is proving that she is anything but authentic.
