A group of Americans opposed to Democrat demonization of traditional energy sources is comparing Joe Biden to Jimmy Carter in a big ad blitz. Everywhere you look, it’s a flashback to the 1970’s. From gas shortages, to inflation, to a crisis with Iran. It’s déjà vu all over again.
Jimmy Carter isn’t the best example
Power the Future advises Joe Biden that Jimmy Carter isn’t the kind of energy policy maker any president should be using for an example.
They put out a “high six-figure” digital advertisement campaign comparing the two administrations on energy and inflation. They could be twins. Instead of a crackhead son, Jimmy had his brother Billy. At least all Billy sold was beer, not appointments with his brother for back-room deals.
Everyone in Alaska, New Mexico, Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas can expect to have their social media news feeds overwhelmed with the 90-second spot.
The group is targeting energy-producing regions of the U.S. to highlight the “parallel” in energy policies between Biden and Carter. They matched each other on inflation, too. Liberals can’t seem to grasp basic economics, for some strange, bizarre and unknown reason.
After some quick clips of Biden and Carter each talking about their big deal energy agenda, some words crawl up on the screen. “President Biden, if you’re going to plagiarize someone else’s tired ideas, make sure it’s not from a failing student.”
Just like Biden, Jimmy was a likable guy. Americans on both sides of the aisle always wished him good will personally. He meant well. Even when they were cursing him out because they couldn’t get gas or go to work. Every penny made went to rising inflation at the grocery store. Great guy, terrible policies. As long as he sticks to building houses, he still gets favorable ratings.

Strategic Petroleum Reserve
At least Jimmy was smart enough to allow the creation of an oil stash here in America so we wouldn’t be forced to rely on those touchy Arabs. As the media blitz points out, Joe Biden is really glad that Jimmy set up that oil account because he’s going to pump it dry.
As noted by Fox News, “Power The Future’s ad also shows a clip of Carter boasting about the creation of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve before cutting to Biden’s recent remarks announcing a release of one million barrels of oil per day for six consecutive months.”
Just like the 1970’s, Joe Biden has big trouble with Iran. They were holding American’s hostage back then. They’re holding the whole world hostage now. They’re going to build a nuke soon whether they get more pallets of cash from Uncle Sam or not.

“A half century may have passed between the Carter and Biden administrations, but their policy ideas have not changed and neither have the outcomes.” A group spokesman told Fox, “unfortunately, history is repeating itself, and the biggest losers are the wallets of middle-class Americans.”
Energy, he says, “touches every facet of our economy, and Biden’s relentless war on the industry and its workers has driven inflation to levels not seen since the Carter years. Let’s hope for the health of our economy and future that Biden’s presidency follows Carter’s in another way: one term and done.”
He might not even make it that far. Even Democrats are scheming ways to do him in politically.
