One of Donald Trump’s biggest allies has found himself in even more trouble with the law.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was just found in contempt in the defamation case brought by two Georgia election workers.
Giuliani lost the initial suit, having been ordered to pay $146 million to Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss.
Violation
Giuliani is one of many Trump allies who has literally had his life ruined for pushing Trump’s 2020 election narrative.
He is at least the second person to have his entire fortune wiped away in these lawsuits, and now Giuliani has even more problems.
It would appear that Giuliani never turned over his financial documentation in time in this case, claiming, “Some days it is completely impossible because there are conflicting demands for material and appearances on the same day.”
The judge, however, was not buying it.
The judge stated that Giuliani “willfully violated an unambiguous order of the court.
“The defendant has attempted to run the clock by stalling.
“Discovery is not supposed to be a shell game where the hidden ball is moved around and around.”
The decision in this case was over the top, especially when you consider that Giuliani was “only” worth about $50 million at the time.
He is going to have to liquidate virtually all of his assets to satisfy this judgment, and he still will not be out of the woods.
He may need to move into Mar-a-Lago and start doing dishes soon because when they get done with him in this case, he is not going to have a penny left.
