About two weeks before the election, the FBI interviewed a witness for more than five hours.
That witness turned over several cell phones to the FBI that should have blown the investigation into Hunter Biden wide open.
More specifically, it could have linked Joe Biden to Hunter Biden’s business dealings.
Instead, the agent in charge of the witness allegedly sat on the information.
The witness: Tony Bobulinski.
The agent: Timothy Thibault.
The Coverup
When Bobulinski went public, most media outlets acted as though he was a Trump operative and completely ignored the story.
As it turns out, he gave Thibault numerous cell phones loaded with encrypted messages showing Joe Biden as the “big guy” from Hunter Biden texts and emails.
Thibault sat on all of it.
Thibault also retired from the FBI last week in disgrace, which now appears as though it was a way to keep all of this buried.
Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is livid, demanding answers from the powers that be the DOJ.
He penned a letter to Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray, stating, “In October 2020, an avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting was ordered closed at the direction of ASAC Thibault.
“It’s been alleged that the FBI HQ team suggested to the FBI agents that the information was at risk of disinformation; however, according to allegations, [it] was either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants … Thibault allegedly ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason, as required by FBI guidelines [and] it’s alleged that FBI officials, including ASAC Thibault, subsequently attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future.”
Do we expect much before the 2022 election? Realistically, no.
However, if and when Republicans can take back at least one arm of Congress, it will be a new ballgame.
