Brian Driscoll has only been the Acting FBI Director for a few days, but he could be out of a job very soon.

Trump tapped Driscoll for the position after Christopher Wary resigned just before Trump was sworn into office.

However, Driscoll has already apparently disobeyed a directive, and that is not going to sit well with Trump.

Turn It Over

Donald Trump is on a warpath over the J6 prosecutions, and Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove is looking for heads for him to chop off.

Bove asked Driscoll for a list of all FBI agents who worked on the J6 cases, and Driscoll had reservations about putting those names on paper.

Bove issued a memo, telling Driscoll, “These lists should include relevant supervisory personnel in FBI regional offices and field divisions, as well as at FBI Headquarters.”

Driscoll responded, “We understand that this request encompasses thousands of employees across the country who have supported these investigative efforts. I am one of those employees.”

Then Bove kicked it up a notch, wanting to know their precise roles in these investigations, and Driscoll did not want to give that information up.

Now, we all know why Bove is getting this information. Trump wants to see if anyone stepped over a line in these investigations.

I am not saying the investigation should have been hidden by any means, but it surely should have been more discreet than this.

Right now, the media is already calling it a revenge hunt, which is why I think it should have waited until Patel was confirmed, then he could have assigned an independent investigator to look into it quietly.

Now agents know about it, so anyone who was involved in anything shady will start covering their tracks.

This is not going to play well in the media, and they are already coming after Trump with everything they have.

Trump was way too impatient on this, but let’s wait to see what they come up with before jumping to too many conclusions.
