In an unusual departure for this outlet, the author isn’t a passive observer. Not this time. Instead, I’m about to give my eyewitness testimony to events which transpired. I’m going to go ahead and slap a nice big [OPINION] label on it anyway, because the Deep State likes to play rough. Okay, so, in my humble opinion, what I’m about to relate is the Truth with that infamous capitol “T” to the best of my recollection. I wasn’t taking notes, because I was relying on the video. That was my mistake. Update: I made another check and the video mysteriously reappeared. See it for yourself while you can. I came in around the 45 minute mark.
Deep State vanishing act
What started out as a simple update on the People’s Convoy protest took a spooky turn Saturday morning and turned into a story about Deep State intrigue and government censorship all on its own.
I didn’t plan to go down this rabbit hole but it sucked me in like it has an event horizon. I have nothing but praise for YouTube videographer Dana Nation.
I tuned in to his live stream Saturday morning on March 5 around 9:00 a.m. Arizona time. There was no news at all about the convoy which had been scheduled to arrive in D.C. today, after traveling all the way from California. I tuned in just as he was interviewing Chuck Timbrook, Owner of “Black Out.”
Our truck, he told Journal News last year, “is not a vocalization of political stance. Our mission is to spread the importance and appreciation for those who have put their lives at risk for our everyday freedom,” Timbrook said. “Blackout is a one-of-a-kind tribute serving as a representation for our veterans, fallen soldiers, POW, active duty and all in the field to serve, protect and stand for the American nation.”
He’s on the ground at the staging area for the People’s Convoy in Hagerstown, Maryland on Saturday morning. That should speak volumes about the character of those attending this entirely peaceful protest.
Even the trolls are saying it seems more like a block party than a protest. Videographer Dana Nation had around twenty viewers as he wandered around past rows of decked out semis. Besides the trucks were vehicles of every shape and size, all displaying deplorably Nationalist symbols, especially the American Flag.
More trucks coming
Nation wandered out to the front gates to point out that since he arrived in the early hours, organizers had begun parking new arrivals along the main road. More are coming in all the time, including more trucks.
That turns out to be the big reason why nobody headed into the District yet. A whole lot more trucks and supporters are expected to arrive today. The atmosphere in the makeshift encampment is lite, friendly and a lot like a swap meet.
This reporter dared to anger the Deep State by asking Dana Nation to “Say ‘Hi‘ to folks” and “ask them why they’re here.” He picked a couple guys at random. As soon as these two patriotic Americans started telling their tale, the trolls came unglued.
Both came from faraway places and had joined separately early in the convoy. One was proudly wearing Old Glory as a shawl, which the trolls were relentless about but the grizzled old patriot didn’t seem to care about his political correctness. What they had to say attracted the attention of big brother too.
It didn’t take long before a camo clad guy with a ramrod rigid spine wandered up. Dana decided to interview him too. Turns out he’s a “security” kind of guy who likes to turn up at events like this. After Dana wandered away, I noted in the chat that JD “smells like a fed.” Our friendly host wandered off to talk to a couple more peace loving patriots. The theme of the question “Why are you here?”
Turns out to be “Defense of our Constitution.” Our nation needs a lot of help, these days, to find our way back to the America our Founding Fathers spelled out for us in that very special document. They don’t like the way modern officials, meant to represent “We the People” ignore the People to use our beloved Constitution as toilet paper.
That’s about when the Deep State pulled his plug hard. Here’s where that opinion part comes in because all I get when I try to find his excellently produced interviews is a notice saying that the video is “Private.” Okay, so maybe it was something I said in the chat room.
