It’s beginning to look like the only option is to dismantle the FBI and start from scratch. According to Kentucky lawmaker James Comer, that’s what “needs” to happen. His opinion matters because he is the new chairman of the House Oversight Committee. This watchdog isn’t toothless and he’s already snarling at Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray.
Dismantle the FBI
The FBI has to go. The Federal Bureau of Instigation demolished itself and now it’s time to clear away the trash left behind. The latest batch of Twitter Files disclosed that “the bureau was in constant contact with Twitter before Elon Musk took over.”
The abuse was so blatant that it appears the social media platform was a “subsidiary” of the bureau. Even worse, it was all weaponized to protect the Biden family, while destroying President Donald Trump.
Everyone knows the Twitter scandal is only part of the story because if one platform was doing it, they all were. With the media in obedient lockstep collusion. The public just learned that the “FBI exchanged more than 150 emails with former Twitter Trust and Safety head Yoel Roth between January 2020 and November 2022.”

It started a full nine months before the big election. That’s long enough to grow a baby or a deep state conspiracy to rig an election. “Roth’s team worked to censor the New York Post’s October 2020 report on Hunter Biden’s laptop.” For starters.
From the conspiracy involving Twitter, the public learned the “FBI formed a task force of 80 agents to specialize in social media after the 2016 election.” Practically the day Trump was elected, they started conspiring to do him in. “This team worked with Twitter to weed out alleged election meddling by foreign actors.”
That is a code phrase which really meant silence and censor anyone with a conservative viewpoint. “This is serious. What else are in they involved in at the FBI? The entire FBI needs to be dismantled. We need to start all over we need to enact strict reforms. There needs to be checks and balances at the FBI.”

Misinformation crackdown
To the FBI, “misinformation” is anything which will help Trump or hurt Joe Biden. Along with Joe, they were protecting all the other global priority issues. Everything from the World Health Organization to COVID-19 to Klaus Schwab was off limits to anything that hinted of criticism. They did things to silence and censor people who did nothing to violate any platform rules.
Only to protect Deep State interests. Rep Comer proclaims, “look at our First Amendment rights. Anyone that cares about free speech should be outraged, whether you’re a Republican or Democrat. This has to stop.”
The FBI had a devoted forum to ask “for information about Twitter users that related to active investigations, but also included the bureau calling on the site to crack down on election misinformation,” Journalist Matt Taibbi writes.

As soon as Representative Comer saw the latest revelations, he announced “this is serious and this is going to be a top priority for Republicans on the oversight committee.” When he saw the first batch, he assumed that a “rogue FBI employee or two” were communicating with Twitter executives about the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Then he saw the next batch. “But what we found today is the FBI had its own ministry of propaganda — 80 FBI agents dedicated to nothing but censoring free speech on the internet. Eighty! As someone who’s going to be incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee that’s roughly $12 million in expenses to the taxpayers in salary and benefits.“
