It’s really sad to consider the fact that the justice system can fail to provide victims with the very thing it is named after: justice. That’s exactly what happened in this case, where an evil sex offender was let off with a slap on the wrist and no jail time for child abuse. Frustrated with the pathetic ruling, this victim decided to exact his own justice.
A 29-year-old Nevada man recently punched out his child abuser after a so-called “judge” gave the 80-year old pedophile a sentence with no jail time. Tylor Fu was abused by Richard Gross from ages 8 to 15 and rose from his seat in court to deliver justice of his own, knocking out Gross and getting himself arrested in the process.
Tylor Fu’s story is one of pain and heartbreak. From the ages 8 to 15, he was sexually abused by Richard Gross during camping trips, in the pedophile’s pickup truck, and in his home.
In 2019, after being inspired by a news article on sexual abuse, he reported what happened to him and Gross was subsequently indicted on 26 charges. However, when it came time for sentencing on October 2nd this year, Gross was given a suspended sentence from “Judge” Tierra Jones which allowed him to remain a free man despite pleading guilty to one felony count of attempted lewdness with a child under 14 years old.
Fu could not believe what had just happened – that his abuser would be allowed to walk away as if nothing ever happened. His anger boiled over and he delivered justice of his own – punching Gross hard enough to make him lose consciousness before being taken into custody for misdemeanor battery.
Fu filed a lawsuit against Gross afterwards as well as launching a GoFundMe campaign for legal expenses since he is now being sued by Gross for battery too. He hopes that speaking out will encourage others who have suffered similar injustices due their abusers or assailants escaping punishment through loopholes in the judicial system.
