Breaking Reports from Minnesota have said that after “multiple explosions” rocked the Allina Health Clinic in Buffalo, MN shots rang out and nearby schools were placed into lockdown. At least five are confirmed injured by American Military News, who also reported that a bomb detonated inside the building. “Around thirty minutes after the shooting, a bomb exploded inside the medical center, prompting medical workers to leave the building’s parking lot and reestablish at a safer distance, the outlet reported.”
Molly Robinson with local Fox affiliate Fox9 reported via twitter. An employee of the clinic and the Wright County Sheriff’s Office have characterized the attack as an “Active Shooter Incident”.

According to CNN helicopter video of the scene showed multiple shattered windows on the front of the building. Paul Blume also of Fox9 reported,
“One law enforcement source describing scene to me as a “disaster.” Gunfire, bombs, multiple victims. Been told metro area agencies en route to assist.”
Bomb squad, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and ambulances are now on scene.

Suspect in Custody in Clinic Attack
A suspect in the shooting and potential bombing is now in custody authorities have said in a statement from the Wright County Sheriff’s Office. “There has been an active shooter incident at the Allina Health Urgent Care – Buffalo Crossroads clinic. A suspect believed to be the shooter has been taken into custody.”
According to NBC News,
“Police said the shooting occurred at about 11 a.m. at 755 Crossroads Campus Dr in Buffalo, about 42 miles northwest of Minneapolis, NBC affiliate KARE reported. Officers, deputies with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office and SWAT teams responded to a report of gunfire at the clinic, the station reported.”
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey tweeted, “There is an unspeakable depravity in doing harm to those who work to heal us. Those who have stepped up and risked their own health for ours. Our first responders are on their way to the scene to help. Today Minneapolis stands with our neighbors in Buffalo.” The Minnesota State Patrol also tweeted that “State Patrol pilots are flying six boxes of blood from the Red Cross to #Buffalo Hospital so it is ready for victims of the shooting incident at the #Allina Health Clinic.”
