Last week was not a good week for states like Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia.
These states, among others, took the brunt of the damage from Hurricane Helene.
All the while, Harris was fundraising on the West Coast and Joe Biden was on the beach in Delaware.
I’ll Take Care of It
Trump, who is looking to make up ground in battleground states, headed to Georgia with trucks full of relief supplies and started to hand them out.
This was noticed by locals, even some that did not support Trump.
When you see pictures of the sitting president in a beach chair and the vice president pressing flesh with the rich and famous in LA to drum up more campaign money, you cannot help but feel you are being left by the side of the road.
Then Trump shows up with trucks of relief supplies to help when he is not even in office.
Trump clearly got under the skin of Harris and Biden, however.
Harris cut her West Coast swing short and returned to DC on Monday, telling the media she would get to Georgia and the other locations as soon as possible.
Biden wound up touring North Carolina on Wednesday, three days after Trump was there.
So, let me ask a question…
If Donald Trump can get boots on the ground immediately after the storm to talk to residents and deliver supplies, why couldn’t Harris and Biden do the same?
The answer is simple… We the People are not their priority.
Now, if that Hurricane had wiped out a migrant shelter, I bet you dollars to donuts they would have been there the next day.
