Man, I have to tell you, the jurists in this country have all become activists as of late.
I take you to the state of Michigan, where Robert F. Kennedy Jr. thought he had been taken off the ballot.
After winning his appeal, the Michigan Supreme Court has added him back on, even though he has withdrawn from the race.
Take Me Off the Ballot
This should be a no-brainer.
I mean, the man withdrew from the race right around the same time that Joe Biden did, and nobody had a problem replacing Biden with Harris.
Yet, Kennedy wants off the ballot because he is not running any longer, and Democrats are fighting to keep him on the ballot simply because it hurts Trump more.
The state Supreme Court ruled against Kennedy, saying that there is no specific law that says he should be removed, so they are going to leave him on.
So much for “fair” elections, right?
The two dissenting judges ripped their fellow jurists, having wrote, “The ballots printed as a result of the Court’s decision will have the potential to confuse the voters, distort their choices, and pervert the true popular will and affect the outcome of the election.
“In short, the Court’s ruling will do nothing to rebuild the public’s trust in the fairness and accuracy of our elections.”
And they are right… it is nonsense like this that is turning the average person in this country against our government and our courts.
There is simply no reason for Kennedy to remain on the ballot now that he has left the race. At the same time, they are trying to block someone who does want to run, Jill Stein, for the Green Party.
As I have stated before, it does not matter who wins this election, our streets are probably going to be on fire with all the nonsense that is already taking place.
