Donald Trump is now just two weeks away from taking office, but he is already running circles around Joe Biden.
Trump just had Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at Mar-a-Lago for a meeting.
Biden is behind the eight ball, scheduled to go on his farewell tour this week.
Gotcha!
For those of you unfamiliar, Meloni is like a mini-Trump in terms of controversy in Italy.
She is a firebrand that pulls no punches and could care less what people think.
According to reports, Meloni and Trump had a screening of “The Eastman Dilemma: Lawfare or Justice” together.
Trump brought her to Mar-a-Lago to meet some administration officials, including future Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
On her visit, Trump stated, “This is very exciting.
“I’m here with a fantastic woman, the prime minister of Italy. She’s really taken Europe by storm, and everyone else, and we’re just having dinner tonight.”
Trump has now hosted Meloni, Argentina President Javier Milei, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at Mar-a-Lago as he prepares to take office for the second time.
Trump did not have the greatest relationship with European nations his first time around because of NATO, but something tells me things might be a bit smoother this time around.
For one, there are now some conservatives in place in these governments who know that Trump will drop the hammer, so I don’t expect as much resistance.
Trump and Rubio are going to have to hit the ground running, however, because Biden has left a mess behind for them to clean up.
That, of course, starts with the Russia-Ukraine war as well as the Israel-Hamas war.
Trump is also going to have to deal with the new terror threats in the Middle East thanks to Joe giving terrorists a playground of their own.
