Do we have a spy in our midst?

Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA) is facing a lot of scrutiny today over her associations.

The Democrat has been tied to a very controversial group with direct ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

With her voting record, people are starting to get curious who she is really working for these days.

Spy or Congresswoman

The allegations come from a more than a decade relationship and recent appointment as “honorary chairwoman” of the Forums for Peaceful Reunification of China.

The group is against Taiwan independence, but it goes far deeper than that.

The group and its ties have been investigated by the U.S.-China Economic Security and Review Commission (USCC).

This group and its affiliates are all considered to be under the umbrella of the United Front Work Department (UFWD).

Collectively, they have all been described as PR arms of the CCP.

Dr. June Tuefel Dreyer, a former USCC commissioner, added, “Yes, absolutely, I don’t think they’re working very hard to hide that.”

Steve Yates, a former Chinese language analyst for the National Security Agency, also commented, stating, “Anyone with basic understanding of Chinese language, China-Taiwan relations, and the politics of related affinity groups within the United States would easily see similarities between the problematic United Front organization identified by the USCC and its southern California chapter where Rep. Judy Chu appears to have been appointed honorary chair.”

If you look at Chu’s voting record, it raises some very serious questions at to where her loyalties lie.

For instance, she voted against a committee in the House to be formed that would have combatted CCP espionage in the United States.

Spy or Congresswoman? You tell me.
