What is Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) thinking?
Last week, he decided to introduce abortion legislation on the same day inflation reports came out.
This week, he is doubling down while Biden is getting hammered over his “60 Minutes” interview.
Timing is Everything
To be clear, I think the legislation by Graham is on point.
It would clearly reflect what the majority of Americans want to see.
Having said that, the timing is atrocious.
You would have thought Graham would have learned his lesson last week when he got crushed by everyone for the bad timing.
But to double down in the legislation when Biden is getting another bad news cycle?
Is Graham trying to lose midterms?
The kicker is that this legislation has no chance of being passed right now with Democrats in charge of both chambers, so why keep pushing it?
The only conclusion that can be drawn is that Graham is trying to help Joe Biden.
Time to drain the swamp… the sooner the better.
