Governor Hochul apparently does not like opposing opinions.

Hochul implored Republican candidates to leave the state.

She suggested they all go to Florida, “where they belong.”

The Backlash

Hochul’s comments did not take long to go viral, which drew significant backlash on social media.

Hochul, in addressing Republicans, stated, “We’re here to say that the era of Trump and Zeldin and Molinaro – just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong. Get out of town.

“You don’t represent our values.”

Columnist David Marcus responded, “Hochul is flat out attacking not just GOP politicians, but GOP voters.

“This is just normal behavior for Democrats now.”

Author and podcast host Ryan James Girdusky responded, “Ironically if all 3.27 million Trump voters in NY voted for @leezeldin in November, it would be enough votes to beat Kathy Hochul.”

Her opponent, Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) added, “New York has a Governor who believes that if you disagree with her you are no longer a New Yorker and need to leave the state.

“Just think about how absolutely nuts that is. Kathy Hochul’s Gotta Go!”

If her comments came from the mouth of a Republican, there would be national outrage and the mainstream media would be calling for her resignation.

Instead, all we hear are crickets.
