It would appear that Barack Obama is a bit upset at the results of the election and that his warnings regarding Donald Trump were completely disregarded.
All of sudden, we are seeing Obama appearances all over the place.
This would include an appearance with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Stop Thinking for Yourself
Obama tried to shame people into voting for Kamala Harris, and it did not work.
So, he now appears ready to go back to the bad orange man narrative over the next four years to try to help Democrats take back the White House in 2028.
Obama got it all started by appearing with Merkel, who is hawking a new book with quite a few complaints about Donald Trump in it.
He is also going to appear at a forum with actor Ryan Reynolds and singer Reyna Roberts.
Obama is clearly trying to get his foothold on the party back.
Longtime Democratic strategist Hank Sheinkopf stated, “His influence is not waning — you can’t get rid of heroes if you can’t replace them. The Democrats have a generational issue and a fundamental identity issue.
“The party has to regroup. The question is — can Barack Obama and the heroes of the past help them do that, or do they need an entire new generation to get to work?”
I don’t necessarily agree with that, as Obama’s advice fell on deaf ears in the 2024 election, yet he continues to double down on the same narrative.
Brad Bannon, a Democratic strategist, believes that we are going to see a lot more of Obama during the next four years, as he believes Obama will regularly speak out against Trump policies.
He stated, “He is stepping back in the spotlight — you’ll see him talk about national security issues because I think he’s concerned about the direction that the president-elect will take in dismantling NATO and withdrawing support for Ukrainians.
“I think he’s very concerned about the direction that Trump will take in foreign policy and believes that Trump will undermine our national and international posture — so I think that’s what this conversation with Merkel is about, but he wants to stay above the partisan fray.”
I cannot help but laugh at the suggestion that Obama will “stay above the partisan fray” when all Obama ever does is try to stoke divide and hatred against conservatives.
I say bring it… the people of this country are tired of their nonsense and Obama’s message is only driving more people to the conservative movement.
