The Biden-Harris regime has become synonymous with the same corruption and nepotism that the leftist media dreamed of finding in the Trump family for years, and even tried to invent a few times. Whether it’s Hunter Biden’s “Art” or the suspicious stock market gains of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul or now the revealed graft of Biden’s new CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky and her husband: medical researcher Dr. Loren Walensky, scientific co-founder and a member of the Board of Directors of Lytica Therapeutics, according to RedState. Not familiar with that one? Let’s break it down this latest nasty money trail that leads straight to the CDC and a Director who was placed there by none other than Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Dr. Rochelle Walensky was recently dragged by Conservative media outlets for using the phrase “pregnant PEOPLE” according to The Washington Examiner, but oh it gets so much worse than that.
“The rise in cases, vaccine hesitancy, and the increased risk of severe illness for pregnant people make vaccination against #COVID19 more urgent than ever,”
Meet The Director’s Husband Who Is Receiving Federal Grant Money: Dr. Loren Walensky
The story was broken by syndicated talk show host Howie Carr that CDC Director Walensky’s husband Dr. Loren Walkensky who co-founded Lytica Therapeutics “an early-stage biotechnology company working on an innovative platform for developing next-generation antimicrobials.” according to LabCentral, received a $16.9 million Health and Human Services grant for the development of “antibacterial peptides with broad activity against multidrug-resistant bacteria.”
The company has received $5.3 million of that total with the remaining $11.6 million to be distributed as the research hits various “milestones”. So who decides when Lytica has reached those milestones? Funny you should ask that.
What makes grant money problematic? Two things according to Redstate’s Scott Hounsell who wrote:
- “I have previously worked in the world of grant writing and can tell you most agencies will not give grants to organizations that have existed for less than a year and organizations that have no other stream of funding. In this particular case Crunchbase, which monitors funding for corporations and non-profits, shows that the only funding that Lytica has received to date is the $5.3 million allocated from the grant received.”
- “In her financial disclosures, submitted January 13, 2021, she lists her husband’s interest in Lytica Therapeutics as a “spousal holding,” but doesn’t indicate that he is the co-founder of the company and ostensibly working there since he is the inventor of the technology subject to the CARB-X grant. She also doesn’t indicate in that filing that his company is receiving a federal grant from the very agency in which she’s being appointed to a leadership position – and the agency that still has to make decisions on whether to award the additional $11.6 million.”
Yeah, oops. So, Dr. Walensky, no not that one, the one that works for the CDC, has some explaining to do doesn’t she? That grant money under her agency could allow her husband’s company, and by extension, the happy Walensky couple, to become extremely wealthy if their research pans out. At worst: if it doesn’t then $16 million of the taxpayer’s money has been wasted on a pet project for a well-connected family member. Either way, the fact that this wasn’t disclosed to Congress during her nomination hearings is absolutely impeachable. Walensky should be fired from the CDC immediately.

Here’s the kicker for those of you playing the home game that’ll just roast your peppers: Who recommended Walensky for her post? Why the only doctor that the Biden-Harris regime listens to of course: Dr. Anthony Fauci. It turns out that Fauci worked with her when she served as chair of the Office of AIDS Research Advisory Council and a member of the US Department of Health and Human Services Panel on Antiretroviral Guidelines for Adults and Adolescents according to Bloomberg, his recommendation went a long way. Isn’t that a cozy arrangement?
Red State reported,
“One of the key people we talked to was Dr. Fauci, and Dr. Fauci really believed that Dr. Walensky was the right person to lead the CDC, so that was obviously an important recommendation,” [Biden transition co-chair Jeff] Zients said.
