Low-income Earners About to Receive another Handout While Some of Our Brightest Citizens are Kicked to the Curb

If you live in Massachusetts and make less than $39,000 individually or $79,500 as a family and worked through the COVID19 panic then lawmakers in Boston are getting ready to cut you a Handout check for $2.000! If you make any more than that… well you’re rich in their view and they don’t care about you. No, no handout for you. So business owners who braved the penalties of their own government acting against them, kept their doors open, their employees employed and customers cared for often operating at massive losses… what about them? Nah.. not so much. And if you switched to working remotely as the government asked you to? It’s not for you either.

According to CBS Boston,

“The bill, if signed into law, would create a “premium pay program” that would “provide direct financial support to essential workers, in an amount of not less than $500 and not more than $2,000 for each eligible essential workers.”

“We didn’t want to make it overly generous,” House Speaker Ron Mariano told The Boston Globe. “We wanted to benefit the folks who stayed at their post through the whole pandemic — the folks who worked in the nursing homes, that drove the buses, that worked in the supermarkets.”

Redistribution of Taxpayer Dollars In Another Socialist Handout

The money for this additional round of leftist hand-outs to keep the plebs happy would come from the $3.6 billion Massachusetts received from the Biden-Harris regime as part of the so-called ‘American Rescue Plan’ as well as funds from the state’s over-taxation which should be refunded to ALL the taxpayers according to how much they paid in. By rerouting a “surplus” which is better termed as an ‘overdraw’ or ‘excessive taxation’ in any other fashion then refunding proportionally to the taxpayer is a disgusting socialist exercise in wealth redistribution rosily, euphemistically described as a “bonus”.

What is this really? It’s a slap in the face to every small to medium business owner whose hard work and dedication helped keep Massachusetts alive through 2020, every small grocery store, every family-run group home or nursing home, the pharmacies, the hardware stores… that all hung on by a thread. Instead of giving them back the taxes they overpaid which would give them a hand, Boston just gave them the finger.
